Emergency Medicine at UMMC

The department is very involved in the educational programs for medical students, medical residents, nursing, dental and allied health students. In addition to the residency program, fellowship opportunities are available. Emergency Medicine currently has 18 faculty members, a fully accredited residency program and a division of medical toxicology.
