Act - Practice Testing. The ACT test is a standardized college readiness and assessment test for high school achievement and college admissions. The standard ACT test consists of 4 sections: English, Math, Reading and Science Reasoning. An optional 30 minute writing section is also included in the ACT Plus version of the test.
