Thiruvilakku Pooja is a special Vratha for women during the Tamil month of Aadi. The month of Aadi is considered very auspicious to connect oneself to this Divine power. The most auspicious days are Fridays and Tuesdays in this month. Varalakshmi Pooja and Thiruvilakku Pooja were an ritual dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi is performed on a Friday in the month of Aadi.
