Book of Psalms

The word "Psalm" comes from a Greek verb that means "to play a stringed instrument", and was originally used to designate the songs accompanied by that instrument. The latter was called "Psalter", but later the name lost its original meaning and began to be used as a synonym for Book of Psalms.
